As  Mom to ten furchildren (eight cats and two dogs), I enjoy spoiling each of them on their Birthdays, Gotcha Days, and Holidays.

This inspired me to create Pawtastic Baskets so you too can share a handcrafted pet gift basket or toy with your special furry friend on their special day.

 I took a "Small Business" course when I was in college.  We had to prepare a business plan as part of our grade.  My business plan was for a gift basket company.  I have always wanted to open a gift basket company but just hadn't found my "niche".

Since I am the proud Mom to six cats and two dogs that I love to spoil, I thought it would be nice to offer a product to people like me that love to spoil their four-legged family members.  I decided to make Handcrafted Pet Gift Baskets my niche.  After much thought and a great deal of research, I decided to open Pawtastic Baskets on May 1, 2011.

You will notice that I use "we" and "our" when talking about the business.  This is in reference to my four-legged co-owners.  My four-legged family members are responsible for treat, toy, and ribbon testing and I have to say they have been doing a great job!!!

The photo you see here is of the first basket we ever made and the first basket sold.  We want to thank our great cat furriend Tink Alva and her Mom for being our very first customers.
